Thursday event tomorrow at Medjool

I'm sending this for Helena since she's still partying in Las Vegas.

Tomorrow night SF Wednesdays is having a special Thursday event at Medjool in San Francisco. Wear something warm since it might be chilly on the roof.

Before Medjool, I'm organizing a dinner at Cha Cha Cha in the Mission. Let me know if you are interested and I'll make reservations. We can then walk from the restaurant to the bar (if you're still capable of walking, after all that sangria).

8pm: Cha Cha Cha
10pm: Medjool

I can't believe it's been 4 months since my last SF Wednesday. I hope to see you all there!

The Scene
This intimate spot is cloaked in a cacophony of saccharine hues, from fuchsia walls adorned with glittery graffiti to rosy toilet seats. Candle-filled wall sconces bathe the space in dancing light that seems to give flight to white butterflies decorating mirrors and walls. Wispy fabrics hang from the ceiling and break up the long, white vinyl bench seating, while a metallic-silver bar and DJ booth balance the kitsch.

The Draw
Music is the real focus, though Pink can seem like an ultra lounge with its sleek clientele and steep bottle prices, which are scrawled lipstick-style on mirrors above the bar. A top-shelf sound system amplifies acid jazz, funk and deep-house sounds from some of the world's most renowned DJs. Guests from notable clubs (like Paris' Buddha Bar) are flown in with surprisingly little fanfare--those in the know may catch such an international star on a Tuesday night, for example.
